Job summary

Eden Park Community Aged Care is seeking a Resident Care & Wellbeing Coordinator (Full time) in Geelong to lead our Wellbeing team and deliver engaging lifestyle programs for residents. You will foster a caring, joyful environment and mentor staff to provide exceptional care.

The role emphasizes compassionate leadership, relationship-building with residents and families, and adaptiveness to new technology and systems in a not-for-profit aged care setting.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in residential aged care or similar role.
• Diversional Therapy or equivalent qualification or experience as a Manager, Resident Wellbeing Program in an aged care setting.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificates (in house training).
• NDIS Clearance.
• Competent use of computers, email and electronic care planning software.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• DoFoodSafely Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Wellbeing team to deliver engaging and purposeful lifestyle programs for residents.
• Create joy and enthusiasm in a loving and caring environment.
• Lead and mentor Wellbeing Assistants to deliver lifestyle activities.
• Build effective, positive relationships with residents, families, team members and colleagues.
• Coordinate and oversee wellbeing activities and programs.

Position Requirements - Essential:

• 2 years' experience in residential aged care or similar role
