Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a caring Activities Assistant to deliver engaging activities for residents across our NSW homes. You will provide personal care and emotional support, helping residents feel valued, safe and connected in a supportive team environment.

You will get to know residents' interests and design creative, fun activities that keep them engaged and smiling throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or similar setting.
• Ability to provide personal care and emotional support.
• Strong social skills and creativity for activities.

About the Role

In this varied and busy role you deliver engaging, fun and varied activities ensuring residents have their best day, everyday. A key part of your role will be giving personal care and emotional support to residents to ensure they feel valued, safe and maintain strong social connections within the home. As well as providing some aspects of direct care you will love getting to know the personal interests of our residents and finding engaging, fun and innovative activities that keep them motivated and smiling.

You'll be a team player who:

• Brings your energy and passion for enriching the lives of older Australians into this fun, dynamic and varied role
• Wants to be part of a collaborative team in a dynamic and growing sector where you can make a valuable contribution to the lives of older Australians with your warm and welcoming approach
