Romsey Community Aged Care in Romsey, Victoria, is seeking a Resident Care & Wellbeing Assistant to join their permanent team. You will deliver varied lifestyle programs and support residents' physical, emotional and social wellbeing, using technology for records and communication.

You will need Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing) and relevant certificates, be willing to drive the Residence bus, and commit to flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing) is the minimum requirement.
• Relevant certificates in lifestyle/ageing support preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certificates current.
• Current Police Check within 12 months.
• Hold a valid driver’s licence and willingness to drive the Residence bus.

About You:

You must be experienced in delivering varied lifestyle programs and also comfortable with learning new technology to make difference to our residents' physiological, physical and emotional wellbeing!

• Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing), is a minimum requirement for this role
• Previous experience in a similar position as a Resident Care & Wellbeing Assistant is desirable
• Preferred applicants will have a Certificate IV or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent or Cert IV in Ageing and significant demonstrated Lifestyle experience
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificates (practical in person training)
• Hold a current drivers licence and be willing to drive the Residence bus as required
• Current Police Check (within 12 months)
• Current DoFoodSafely Certificate
• Flexibility to work dayshifts, weekends, and public holiday shifts as required
• Commitment to providing holiday and leave relief across the home
