Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in research-intensive environments
• Demonstrated administrative and communications skills
• Willingness to travel between sites
• Numeracy skills including expenditure reconciliation
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Experience developing protocols and manuals per regulatory standards
• Ability to interpret and implement policy and procedures and review administrative processes
• Excellent time and workload management with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Identify core research equipment infrastructure and establish technological priorities for shared use
• Collate information to inventory FMH level equipment with purchase, commissioning, operational management, repair, and decommissioning details
• Provide support for change programs and strategic reviews to improve utilisation of research equipment and space
• Coordinate and support SBA program participants planning, resource allocation and implementation
• Complete data collection for auditing/cataloguing assets and hazardous materials/chemicals
• Apply sound technical knowledge for equipment operations and maintenance
• Work with research support teams to prepare submissions and funding applications for research infrastructure
