Job summary

The Faculty of Medicine and Health at The University of Sydney is seeking a Faculty Research Infrastructure Officer to support researchers, identify equipment infrastructure, and manage assets for strategic initiatives.

You will assist in pre- and post-award grant management, provide operational and strategic advice on research infrastructure, and coordinate across multiple sites. Travel within precincts is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in research-intensive environments or facilities.
• Strong administrative and communications skills.
• Ability to interpret and implement policy and procedures.
• Experience with budgeting, auditing, and grant management.

Responsibilities

• Help identify core research equipment infrastructure and priorities.
• Collate information to create an inventory of FMH equipment with details.
• Coordinate SBA program participation, planning, and resource allocation.
• Prepare submissions and applications to secure funding for infrastructure.
