Job summary

University of New South Wales – Sydney NSW is seeking a Research Officer in the Faculty of Medicine and Health. The role supports research projects, manages pre- and post-award grant activities, and coordinates with researchers across Schools, Centres and Institutes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong stakeholder management, budgeting and compliance capabilities, and work in a hybrid environment from Kensington, Sydney.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent experience or equivalent competence.
• Experience liaising with researchers and stakeholders across Schools/Centres.
• Ability to manage grant activities and compliance within funded research.

Responsibilities

• Support pre- and post-award grant activities across multiple projects.
• Act as liaison point for researchers and centres.
• Help ensure compliance with grant terms and risk mitigation.
• Assist in budgeting and financial monitoring for funded research.
