You will advise on open access, publishing options, and workflows, align with policies, and report to the Manager, Scholarly Communication and Repositories; the role has no direct reports.

• Knowledge of the research process and scholarly communications environment, including publisher policies and open access.
• Understanding of digital repositories, interoperability, bibliometrics and open science trends.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to skills development and resources for researchers and HDR candidates addressing scholarly communication issues.
• Develop and deliver activities with subject matter experts to support publishing, research evaluation and copyright.
• Develop, review and improve workshop content and online resources.
• Apply knowledge of university, government and industry policies to Library services.
• Provide advice on tools, metadata, interoperability, and workflows to streamline deposits and improve discoverability of open access outputs.
• Contribute to Scholarly Communications Support within the Library’s Service Management Framework and provide strategic advice.
