UNSW is seeking a Research Experience Librarian to support HDR candidates and researchers with scholarly communications. You will provide expert guidance on open access, copyright, and discovery, working with the Library to enhance workflows and research outputs.

The role reports to the Manager, Scholarly Communication and Repositories, with opportunities to influence policy and practice, based in Kensington NSW during standard Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Advanced communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to deliver workshops and resources.
• Strong time management to handle changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to skills development and resources for researchers and HDR candidates in scholarly communication and publishing.
• Develop and deliver activities with subject matter experts and library staff to support publishing and research evaluation.
• Contribute to development and improvement of workshop content and online resources.
• Apply knowledge of university, government, and industry policies to Library services.
• Advise on tools, metadata, interoperability, and workflows to improve deposition and discovery of open access outputs.
• Support Scholarly Communications Service within the Library’s Service Management Framework and provide strategic advice at Library level.
