Reporting to the Faculty Business Director, the position works closely with academic staff, the Associate Dean Research, Faculty leadership and central University teams to support research projects from early feasibility and funding development through to establishment, financial management, governance, reporting and delivery.

The position will:
  • Support Faculty researchers to effectively manage their projects throughout the research project lifecycle, from funding opportunity review, proposal development and project establishment through to ethics, contracts, reporting and close-out requirements.
  • Provide practical research administration advice across funding rules, governance obligations, compliance requirements, budgets and deliverables.

  • Is proactive and organised, with the ability to keep timelines, budgets, milestones and competing priorities moving without losing sight of the detail.
  • Works collaboratively across academic and professional teams, building trust with researchers, central University teams and external partners.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently, turning funding, compliance and project requirements into practical advice that helps researchers progress their work.
