Job summary

Bond University on the Gold Coast is seeking an Administration Officer in the Clinical Placements Team to coordinate and implement placement processes for medical and allied health programs. You will support communications, compliance, and information management to ensure smooth, high-quality placements for students.

The role is full-time, fixed-term for up to 12 months (Parental Leave Cover) with a supportive team culture and accessible staff benefits on campus.

  • Provides a high standard of administrative support, demonstrating strong organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Possesses solid IT literacy, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and experience with student systems or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Works independently with effective time-management skills, managing competing priorities in a busy environment.
  • Shows strong organisational capability, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement the administrative processes required to place students within the Bond University Medical Program and Allied Health Programs.
  • Maintain clear communication, support compliance requirements, and collaborate with Curriculum and Assessment Administration Teams.
  • Contribute to shared workflows, support colleagues with system use and information management, and maintain placement information.
  • Work with academics, professional staff, and external partners to ensure students and stakeholders are well-informed and supported.

About The Position

We are offering an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, supportive, and collaborative team that values wellbeing, professional development, and shared success. As an integral member of the Clinical Placements Team, you will contribute to a positive, inclusive working environment while gaining experience across a variety of administrative and coordination activities that support student learning and engagement.

The primary purpose of this role is to work closely with colleagues to coordinate and implement the administrative processes required to place students within the Bond University Medical Program and Allied Health Programs. You will help ensure placements run smoothly and efficiently by maintaining clear communication, supporting compliance requirements, and collaborating with Curriculum and Assessment Administration Teams.

In this team-based role, you will contribute to shared workflows, support colleagues with system use and information management, and help maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality placement information. You will work collaboratively with academics, professional staff, and external partners to ensure students and stakeholders are well-informed and supported throughout their placement experience.

Salary details

The salary for the position commences at $74,096.61 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
