Job summary

JP Flynn Builders is seeking a proactive, well-organised Repair Building Administrator to join the team at Keilor Park, with Oakleigh South as an alternative. The role includes handling customer and insurer inquiries, managing project files, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Hybrid work is possible after six months of probation. Reporting to the Repairs Team Leader, you will work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and using company systems and databases

Qualifications

• Experience in administration or customer service within construction, property, repairs, maintenance, or insurance.

With a long history operating in the insurance building sector, JP Flynn Builders focuses on service and quality delivery for some of Australia's largest insurance companies and their customers. An opportunity has now become available for a proactive, well-organised Repair Building Administrator to join the team based in the Keilor Park office - our Oakleigh South office is also an option for applicants living closer to that location. There is scope for hybrid work post completion of the six month probation period.

Reporting to the Repairs Team Leader, you will speak with customers and insurance company representatives and assist with enquiries. Your role will also involve managing a book of files to keep them updated in terms of stages and next steps for repair projects. You will also regularly liaise with internal staff office and field-based staff and trade suppliers.

Ideally with previous administration and/or customer service experience gained in construction, property, repairs, maintenance, insurance or similar, you will be an excellent communicator who possesses strong customer service skills. You will be happy speaking with people on the phone and will enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment where you need to prioritise and multi-task. You will also be proficient with PCs and using company systems and updating databases. You are now looking to join a stable company in an industry that delivers important work.
