Job summary

JP Flynn Builders is seeking a Construction Supervisor to manage repair building projects across a South East metro Melbourne territory. You will schedule, coordinate and lead teams of trades, ensuring quality delivery and safety on every site.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will liaise with insured clients and JP Flynn's office staff to keep stakeholders informed and outcomes on time. Background in insurance/residential construction is preferred, with strong communication and a self-driven

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in the insurance building / residential construction sector.
• Strong coordination, trade scheduling and project management skills.
• Great communication and a self-driven mindset.
• Ability to work with a variety of people and deliver quality work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Prime a bonus).

Job description

The opportunity has become available to take on a key role with a successful, well-established Insurance Building company. JP Flynn Builders performs repair building work on homes on behalf of many of Australia's largest insurance companies and is well-respected in the industry. The company has a proud history spanning almost 40 years and now offers the chance for a Construction Supervisor to join the team, managing projects across a South East metro Melbourne geographical territory.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will schedule, coordinate and lead teams of trades on multiple repair building jobs. You will build strong rapport with your team, and also with the insured, working towards positive outcomes delivered for all parties in a timely manner. You will also liaise with the company’s office staff and management team to ensure there is clear communication and all stakeholders are kept well-informed.
