Cafs is seeking a Renter Rights Service Practitioner to empower renters across Victoria, helping them understand their rights and navigate tenancy issues with tailored information and practical assistance.

Working collaboratively with the renter support sector, you will undertake negotiation, advocacy, and prepare letters and applications, while providing culturally safe, trauma-informed support to renters at RDRV and VCAT hearings.

Qualificações

• Relevant social work qualification and eligibility to work in Australia.
• Experience in housing or tenancy support preferred.
• Knowledge of tenancy law and client-centred practice.

Responsabilidades

• Act as first point of contact, screen and assess needs and safety concerns.
• Triage referrals and connect renters with housing, legal and community supports.
• Provide tailored rental information and practical advice.
