Job summary

Europcar in Canberra is seeking a Sales & Customer Service Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. You will greet customers, tailor rental options to preferences, and process agreements efficiently.

You will upsell products, meet sales targets, inspect vehicles, maintain promotions, and help with vehicle detailing. Strong communication, a proactive attitude, and shift flexibility (including weekends) are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Retail experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in renting vehicles based on their preferences.
• Process rental agreements accurately and efficiently.
• Promote and upsell additional products and services.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly with a service-first approach.
• Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Inspect vehicles before and after rental periods, noting damages.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions and products to assist sales efforts.
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Detail and clean vehicles to business quality standards.
• Refuel and transport vehicles as needed.
