Avis Budget Group at Rockhampton Airport is hiring a Rental Operations Agent. The role combines face-to-face customer service with back-of-house tasks—booking rentals, inspecting vehicles and assisting in wash bays—to keep operations smooth and customers satisfied.

The position is full-time (38 hours/week) with comprehensive training, a supportive culture and opportunities for internal growth within our global organization.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a full and valid driver's licence.
• Full-time position requiring open availability to work days, weekends, nights.
• Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service, sales or similar roles.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to input rental information.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face-to-face, promoting the Avis Budget Group brand.
• Complete rental transactions, contracts and bookings.
• Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles according to company standards.
• Inspect vehicles for damages from previous rentals.
