Job summary

ABB is seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager for its Renewable Power business line in Australia. You will spearhead sales across utility-scale solar, BESS, and hydrogen projects, driving market penetration and growth with local networks and partners.

You will define and execute the sales strategy, build a strong pipeline, and close high-value contracts while ensuring sustainable orders, revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on sales and business development in renewable energy (utility-scale solar, BESS, hydrogen)
• Track record selling power conversion equipment (hydrogen rectifiers, solar inverters, BESS converters, power stations)
• Strong knowledge of Australian regional markets and networks
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
• Bachelor level degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or related field
• Experience with SE Asia, NE Asia, MEA markets is valued
• Fluency in English; other languages advantageous
