Job summary

Bolton Clarke Group seeks a Business Analyst focused on remuneration and enterprise agreements. You will ensure compliance with award/classification obligations, provide data-driven reporting, and support remuneration initiatives across a large not-for-profit organisation.

You will analyse complex agreements, partner with Payroll and HR, and contribute to policy development while maintaining accuracy and accountability across commercial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent.
• Experience as a Business Analyst or Remuneration and Benefits role with reporting and analytical tasks within a large and complex organisation.
• Advanced data and analytic skills including advanced experience with MS Excel.
• Demonstrated experience interpreting Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, Awards, and legislation is preferrable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with minimum award and enterprise agreement rate obligations, including accurate application of rate increases and adjustments.
• Provide Commercial/Operational reporting and analysis support including forecast, budget and other analyses.
• Manage and monitor allowance processes in line with business needs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with enterprise agreements.
• Maintain over-award pay rates to ensure consistency with policies and industry standards.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders (Payroll, HR, People & Culture) to ensure accurate remuneration processes.
• Provide scenario costing for changes with minimum award or enterprise agreement.
• Assist in developing remuneration policies and procedures aligned with best practices.
• Perform regular audits and analyses of remuneration practices to ensure compliance.
