Job summary

Jobgether SRL in Australia seeks an experienced Workday Payroll Analyst to support enterprise implementation and deployment initiatives, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing. You will be a subject matter expert, lead testing activities, validate configurations, and collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and technical teams to drive go-live readiness.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years Workday Payroll experience, deep configuration knowledge, and proven testing leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Workday Payroll experience with multiple full cycles.
• Deep expertise in Workday Payroll configuration and operations.
• Experience leading enterprise Workday payroll testing (SIT, UAT, regression).
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax, earnings, and deductions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Workday Payroll SME during implementation and deployment.
• Lead payroll testing: SIT, end-to-end, regression, parallel payroll, and UAT.
• Validate payroll configurations including earnings, deductions, taxes, and garnishments.
• Develop and execute detailed test scripts; document results and coordinate defects.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and partners to ensure readiness.
• Support payroll data validation, reconciliations, cutover planning, go-live readiness.
• Troubleshoot payroll system issues and drive defect resolution.
• Provide process improvement recommendations for Workday payroll.
• Ensure payroll integrations and end-to-end workflows function correctly.
