Job summary

Jobgether seeks a creative Video Editor for performance ads in Australia. You will transform briefs and assets into high-converting video ads for platforms like Meta, TikTok, Google and YouTube, using traditional editing and AI workflows.

You will test hooks, refine creatives based on campaign data, and collaborate with the creative lead on new concepts. You will work across direct-to-consumer brands, supporting seasonal campaigns and rapid testing, with a strong focus on engagement, conversions

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience editing direct-response video ads for e-commerce/ DTC brands.
• Strong portfolio with live ads and measurable commercial objectives.
• Proven ability to identify hooks in raw footage, craft engaging pacing, and captions within first 3 seconds.
• Understanding of Meta testing methodologies and campaign performance.
• Ability to translate metrics (CTR, CPA) into creative improvements.
• Experience using AI tools to generate and refine assets.

Responsibilities

• Transform briefs and assets into high-converting video ads.
• Produce a weekly volume of original concepts and hook variations.
• Edit UGC, creator footage, demos, and product shots into ads.
• Create AI-generated content including virtual presenters and scenes.
• Combine traditional editing with AI workflows for quality output.
• Develop formats: problem-solution, testimonials, unboxing, founder stories.
• Apply performance marketing to hooks, pacing, captions, CTAs.
• Monitor metrics (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA, ROAS).
• Use insights to optimize and test new variations.
• Stay updated on trends across TikTok and Meta.
• Collaborate on AI tools development and feedback.
• Support major campaigns and Q4 planning.
