Job summary

VaynerX is seeking a Veditor for our APAC market, based in Australia. You will be the algorithm-fluent editor turning creative concepts into high-performing content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more, working within a fast-paced, culture-driven team.

You will collaborate across departments, iterate content quickly, and mentor junior creators, reporting to the VaynerMedia APAC leadership. This is a full-time role in Australia.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional creative experience across platforms (social, streaming, AR, music, film).
• Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in advertising or digital media.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Create content that makes impactful connections with consumers, measured by high attention metrics.
• Serve as an algorithm-fluent editor with expertise in hooks, pacing, structure, and retention across social platforms.
• Take principal accountability for performance tuning and platform success, continuously optimizing creative to unlock stronger results.
• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished final videos, ensuring assets are optimised for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
• Stay up to date with platform algorithms, emerging formats, creator trends and editing techniques.
• Contribute ideas and participate in ideation while ensuring work translates into performance across platforms.
• Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional departments on rapid-fire requests and tight timelines.
• Attend brainstorms and team meetings, contributing ideas and helping shape performance-driven strategy.
• Mentor Creators and possibly Art Directors and Copywriters under leadership guidance.
