Job summary

Amplar Health Group is expanding permanent opportunities for Registered Nurses to join our Virtual Health team delivering in-home and virtual care across Australia.

As a Virtual Triage Nurse, you will assess and triage health concerns over the phone, provide evidence-based advice, and connect callers with appropriate services. This is a remote role with training and fixed shifts, commencing in December or January.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Division 1) with a minimum of 3 years full-time clinical experience within the last 5 years (equivalent to 5100 hours).
• Current AHPRA registration with no notations.
• Experience in A&E and Triage, Paediatrics, Community Care, or Acute Medical/Surgical.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Availability for weekend and night shifts.
• Experience in virtual communication and call centre/customer service.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage a range of health concerns over the phone using clinical judgement.
• Provide evidence-based health advice and determine appropriate next steps in care.
• Support callers by connecting them with suitable healthcare services when further care is needed.
• Operate in a virtual environment with strong multitasking and documentation.
• Participate in comprehensive virtual training and ongoing professional development.
