Outback Stores Pty Ltd in remote Australian communities is seeking passionate singles or management couples to join our Relief Management Team. You will oversee store operations, lead diverse teams, maintain food safety and WHS, and support community health and wellbeing across multiple locations.

We are looking for supermarket retail expertise, strong leadership, rostering and budget management, and cultural awareness to collaborate respectfully with communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in retail or FMCG within a supermarket environment.
• Proven leadership, mentoring and training experience.
• Experience with rostering, staff allocation, and budget control.
• Ability to collaborate across cultures and communities.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient computer skills and quick to learn new software.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, stock control, merchandising, and staff supervision.
• Provide effective leadership and mentoring to in-store teams, fostering a collaborative and culturally respectful environment.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards, WHS, and company policies.
• Maintain excellent store presentation and high levels of customer service.
• Support with staff training initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with community stakeholders and team members.
