Job summary

CrowdStrike in Australia offers a fully remote opportunity to join the NG-SIEM Serverless Cell Platform team. You will help ensure health, performance, and reliability of a globally distributed SIEM platform, writing Go microservices and automation to scale operations.

You will participate in follow-the-sun rotations, upgrade clusters, and collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve production issues, while advancing monitoring and self-healing capabilities in a high-trust

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations, with experience operating distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, OCI, or GCP) including compute, storage, networking, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Python, Java, or similar) for writing automation scripts and microservices.
• Exposure to capacity planning and resource optimization for infrastructure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for runbooks, incident reports, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and reliability of LogScale cells and NG-SIEM components.
• Respond to incidents and participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations.
• Upgrade clusters and microservices using ring-based rollout strategies; deploy patches and recover cells.
• Develop Go microservices and automation scripts to reduce toil and enable self-healing.
• Collaborate with product engineering and customer support to troubleshoot production issues.
• Contribute to monitoring with SLIs/SLOs, dashboards, and alerting.
