Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Engineer for the NG-SIEM Serverless Cell Platform based in Australia and fully remote. You will own operational management of scalable LogScale cells, implement automation, and drive self-healing capabilities across hundreds of petabytes per day.

Join a distributed team delivering reliable, AI-enhanced security data processing and incident response at scale. You will write Go microservices, optimize resource usage, and participate in follow-the-sun on-call

Qualifications

• 7+ years in site reliability, platform engineering, or infra ops at scale.
• Experience with capacity planning, resource optimization, and scaling large infra.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Java or similar for automation.
• Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or OCI and IaC tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication for runbooks and incident reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, performance, and reliability of LogScale cells and respond to incidents.
• Upgrade clusters and microservices, deploy patches, and recover cells during failures.
• Develop monitoring with SLIs/SLOs, alerts, dashboards for rapid troubleshooting.
• Build Go microservices and automation scripts to reduce toil and enable self-healing.
• Collaborate with product engineering and support to coordinate changes.
• Mentor teammates and share knowledge on distributed systems challenges.
