Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to plan and organise care services, ensuring timely, high-quality support. You’ll work with the supply and demand team to improve rostering using data and systems, directly impacting customers’ independence and wellbeing.

This is a full-time work-from-home role with occasional visits to a branch. You’ll manage rosters, intraday changes, and third-party bookings while providing friendly support and ensuring payroll data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling or rostering is preferred.
• Call centre or customer support background welcome.
• Strong service mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage care worker rosters, including intraday changes and leave requests.
• Ensure rostering guidelines, training, and funding requirements are followed.
• Coordinate third-party service bookings and supplier engagement.
• Act as first point of contact for customer scheduling enquiries.
• Use systems to maintain accurate data for payroll accuracy.
• Provide workforce insights to leaders and assist with recruitment alignment.
• Deliver occasional after-hours support when rostered.
• Promote safety, quality and compliance in all activities.
