Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Program Support Officer to assist with vital rural development initiatives and ensure smooth program operations in Australia. You will provide administrative, logistical, and operational support to the project team, coordinating activities and managing resources for community livelihoods and well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within the non-profit or development sector.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with rural development contexts or the Eastern Cape region is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the program team.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of program activities, meetings, and events.
• Manage program documentation, records, and databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Support budget monitoring and financial tracking for program activities.
• Facilitate communication between the program team, beneficiaries, and partners.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as required.
• Assist with the procurement of goods and services for program implementation.
