Job summary

The Tasmania Government, Rural Generalist Pathway Coordination Unit, is seeking a Project Support Officer to provide executive, project and administrative support to the Director Rural Pathways. Located at Burnie, you will coordinate projects and events, support stakeholder engagement, and help manage communications and online resources for Tasmania’s Rural Generalist Pathway.

Fixed term, part-time (30.4 hours per fortnight) with commence ASAP until 30 June 2027.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and project support skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and deadlines.
• Confidence building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating meetings, events and communications.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Strong digital skills, including working with online platforms and systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects and events for TRGP Coordination Unit.
• Support stakeholder engagement and communications.
• Manage communications and online resources for the program.
• Assist with committee activities and reporting.
• Contribute to initiatives that strengthen rural healthcare workforce development across Tasmania.
