Job summary

Rowing Victoria invites a Regatta Coordinator to help deliver the annual regatta calendar with a hands-on, relationship-focused approach. The role blends event management, permits, and major event promotion, with two days in the office at Albert Park Lake and one day per week on-site at regattas or remotely.

You will support the Event Manager, coordinate with hosts and clubs, and help ensure safety, fairness, and alignment with RV policies and strategic plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Rowing Victoria Event Manager to deliver the annual regatta calendar
• Assist regatta hosts with the delivery of their hosted regattas
• Ensure regatta hosts are fully aware of their hosting requirements and obligations
• Assist with the delivery of Rowing Victoria Hosted regattas
• Co-ordinate and deliver necessary regatta permits
• Work with the RV Umpires Commission to ensure regattas meet the necessary standards of fairness and safety
• Work with the RV Competition Commission to ensure regattas meet the needs of the RV membership
• Liaise with regatta venue stake holders to ensure the venue are safe and fit for purpose
• Work collaboratively with the CEO and peers to support the successful execution of the RV strategic plan and events calendar
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with affiliated Club, Schools, affiliated members, and key stakeholders
