Job summary

Adecco Portugal is partnering with a leading international manufacturer of power transformers and grid infrastructure to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager in Australia. You will drive new business across utilities, data centres, mining, and industrial sectors, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to tender submissions.

Success requires a proven ability to secure large projects, build strategic relationships, and travel across Australia.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning new business and developing strategic customer relationships within power transmission, transformer, electrical infrastructure, utilities, or energy sectors.
• You are a motivated sales professional who enjoys building markets, creating opportunities, and managing long sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new opportunities across utilities, power generation, data centres, mining, and large infrastructure projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with asset owners, utilities, EPC contractors, engineering consultancies and end users.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, presentations and technical solution discussions.
• Manage tender submissions, commercial proposals, contract negotiations and project handovers.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and deliver annual sales targets.
• Represent the business at industry events and strengthen market presence across Australia.
