Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Payments & Fraud Lead based in Australia for a fully remote leadership role.

You will oversee payments operations, fraud prevention, and team management in a fast-paced international environment, shaping payment strategy and risk controls while improving customer experience. Qualifications

• Experience in payments operations, fraud, risk, transaction monitoring or related field, ideally within iGaming, crypto, fintech or another high volume transactional environment.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under time pressure.
• Comfortable working with transaction data and investigating unusual or potentially fraudulent activity.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end withdrawal process, ensuring requests are reviewed, approved, and processed accurately and within service levels.
• Monitor payment platform balances to maintain liquidity and identify payout shortfalls.
• Identify, investigate and resolve payment-related issues and fraud indicators.
• Lead and develop the payments team, setting priorities, managing schedules, and establishing quality standards.
• Collaborate across VIP, Customer Support, Product, Business and Portfolio Management teams to resolve payment and fraud-related issues.
