Job summary

Easygo is seeking a Senior Payments Operations Specialist to own analysis of payment systems and drive improvements in efficiency and security. You will work within the Payments & Fraud team in Melbourne, reporting to the Payment Operations Manager, and tackle customer cases, collaborate with external providers, and scale payment operations as the business grows.

The role combines data analysis with hands-on problem solving, requiring deep payments knowledge and strong communication to influence

Qualifications

• Experience in payments, gambling, global e-commerce, online retail payments, fintech or with PSPs.
• Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating payment conversion rates and costs.
• Familiarity with online payment aggregators, platforms and gateway services.
• Critical thinking and problem solving capabilities.
• High level communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to adapt within an extremely fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Improve deposit and withdrawal experience and performance, troubleshooting issues and streamlining payment processes.
• Act as the secondary escalation point for complex customer payment issues, from error spikes to missing transactions and anomalies.
• Analyze transaction data to identify patterns, root causes and opportunities, producing performance reports for prioritisation.
• Liaise with third party payment processors and providers to resolve issues and keep acceptance rates high.
• Support initiatives that automate routine tasks and bring efficiency, control and scalability to payment operations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for workflows and troubleshooting, and train new team members on payment systems.
