Zusammenfassung

Lifeline Direct is seeking Crisis Supporters (Intern or Accredited) for the night-time service, working remotely. Shifts run 6pm–6am and involve assessing suicide risk and providing immediate support to callers in distress.

Ideal candidates hold tertiary qualifications in counselling/psychology or mental health, with strong English communication, solid tech literacy, and the ability to work quietly from home while adapting to new platforms.

Qualifikationen

• Must be Lifeline Voice Crisis Supporter (Intern or Accredited).
• Tertiary qualification in related field (counselling/psychology/mental health).
• Experience supporting people through crises preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assess suicide risk and distress on calls.
• Intervene to provide immediate support and relief.
• Record call data accurately using digital systems.
• Maintain a private, quiet, confidential workspace.
