Job summary

Employment Hero is seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist with a deep Marketo/CRM background to architect and automate our marketing engine. You will drive AI-enabled workflows to replace manual processes and collaborate with sales and marketing to deliver scalable, data-driven campaigns.

You will manage day-to-day Marketo operations, troubleshoot funnel and routing issues, and lead data hygiene and documentation efforts across a remote-first team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Marketo/CRM experience in a fast-paced B2B environment.
• Experience managing Marketing Automation Platforms (Marketo preferred).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across marketing, sales and operations.

Responsibilities

• Platform Management & Support: Oversee Marketo operations, ensure uptime and scalable processes.
• Lead Investigations & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot routing, scoring, and sync issues between Marketo and Salesforce.
• Operational & Campaign Optimisation: Optimise campaigns, apply AI to repetitive tasks, improve speed-to-market.
• Cross-Functional Business Alignment: Translate business requirements into data constraints and technical solutions.
• System Overhaul & Simplification: Overhaul Marketo with Senior Manager to reduce complexity and debt.
• List Operations Management: Manage 2 direct reports; maintain data hygiene, segmentation, and timely execution; explore AI enrichment.
• Ruthless Documentation: Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date docs and workflows.
