Job summary

Subway is seeking a Manager Franchise Performance to support the ANZ team, remotely based in New South Wales. This role leads franchisee performance, steering profitability, brand integrity, and portfolio growth through strategic planning, coaching, and collaboration with franchisees and HQ.

The ideal candidate brings deep multi-site leadership experience in fast-paced food retail, strong financial acumen, and proven ability to influence at a distance while delivering measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years multi-site restaurant leadership (20+ units) or 3 years large format food retail leadership preferred.
• Area/portfolio management experience with ability to understand P&L statements.
• Strong business/financial acumen and market awareness.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead, influence, coach, and measure performance of assigned franchisees to protect brand integrity.
• Develop strategic business directions and alignment to maximize profitability across the portfolio.
• Provide guidance to franchisees on sales building, marketing, operations, and cost control.
• Build strong relationships with franchisees, territory teams, and HQ to support growth and execution.
• Coordinate training, development playbooks, and periodic business reviews.
• Travel occasionally for training and portfolio reviews.
