Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Italian Audio Transcript Editors to clean up, correct, and perfect audio transcripts for AI training. You will listen to recordings, compare them against existing transcripts, and apply detailed guidelines to fix every error you find.

This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract. No AI or tech background needed—just native-level Italian, strong listening skills, and a methodical, independent approach to careful work. 10–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Native Italian language proficiency at native or near-native level.
• Excellent listening abilities to verify audio passages.
• Extremely detail‑oriented to capture every word, space, and timestamp.
• Able to follow structured formatting and style guidelines.
• Self-motivated and reliable for asynchronous, task-based work.
• Comfortable using computer-based tools and web platforms.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Italian audio and compare with transcripts.
• Correct misspellings, missing words, punctuation, and misheard phrases.
• Adjust timing and alignment of transcript segments precisely.
• Follow detailed style and formatting guidelines.
• Flag audio quality issues and ambiguous speech for review.
• Maintain high accuracy across large transcription tasks.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
