Job summary

Alignerr invites native-level Japanese editors to clean up and polish audio transcripts for AI training. You will ensure word-for-word accuracy, correct timing, and adhere to strict formatting guidelines across transcripts.

This fully remote, hourly contract offers flexible scheduling (10–40 hours/week). Prior transcription or captioning experience is helpful, but not required if you can deliver precise Japanese transcripts.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Japanese with excellent listening comprehension.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to catch subtle errors.
• Comfortable with word-level accuracy and precise timing in transcripts.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Japanese audio recordings and review transcripts for accuracy.
• Correct transcription errors including misheard words, missing segments, kanji and punctuation.
• Verify and adjust timing and alignment to match audio precisely.
