Alignerr is seeking a Simplified Chinese Audio Transcript Editor in Sydney to clean up and polish transcripts for AI training. The role is remote, hourly, and flexible, with 10-40 hours per week.

You will ensure word-level accuracy, correct characters, and precise timestamps, contributing to AI systems' understanding of spoken Chinese. No prior AI experience required; native-level Chinese, sharp listening, and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Simplified Chinese (reading, writing, listening).
• Exceptional listening skills and ability to parse speech clearly.
• Extremely detail-oriented with a methodical approach to repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow structured style and formatting guidelines with consistency.

Responsabilités

• Listen to audio recordings and compare them against existing transcripts in Simplified Chinese.
• Correct errors in transcription to ensure character accuracy and timing alignment.
• Verify exact timing, punctuation, and formatting across transcripts.
• Flag audio quality issues or segments needing further review.
• Work independently on task-based assignments at your own pace.
