Future Generation Snowy 2.0 seeks an HR adviser to provide accurate and timely HR advice to managers and employees across the Snowy 2.0 project. You will assist with HR systems, reporting and policy development, and help implement the project culture framework, ensuring compliance with Australian employment law.

The role requires at least two years in a similar HR role, tertiary qualifications in HRM or related field, and strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Qualificações

• Tertiary qualifications in HRM, ER, or related field preferred.
• White Card required.
• 2+ years in a similar HR role, preferably in construction.
• Knowledge of HR/IR systems and processes.
• Project management experience and ability to run longer-term initiatives.
• Knowledge of the Fair Work Act.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in implementing project information systems to support HR functions and provide user training.
• Help managers handle performance and misconduct within regulatory/legal parameters and project guidelines.
• Maintain project organisation charts monthly with HR administrators.
• Prepare data, weekly/monthly reports as required.
• Contribute to developing HR initiatives aligned with project values and culture.
• Develop and implement position descriptions for project team members.
• Support performance development and reviews for clarity and accountability.
• Deliver HR training and help develop policies and procedures across the project workforce.
• Generate employment contracts and internal correspondence as needed.
• Identify workplace issues and assist in risk mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with various levels of staff and external stakeholders.
• Support management in counselling/discipline, return to work, investigations when required.
• Foster positive relationships with project leaders and stakeholders.
