Job summary

Gough Recruitment is seeking a Fire Compliance Officer / Manager to oversee essential compliance across a strata portfolio, working with the Director, strata managers and administration to keep buildings safe and compliant.

You’ll coordinate AFSS, window locks, pool certificates, lifts, and reporting, while liaising with contractors and stakeholders. Hybrid work and a supportive team are on offer.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of strata or real estate experience.
• Understanding of building compliance processes and documentation.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to coordinate contractors and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, independent work style.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end AFSS processes and submissions.
• Manage window lock inspections and follow-ups.
• Oversee pool certificate renewals and rectification works.
• Coordinate lift registration renewals and lift-related matters.
• Manage compliance reporting (CWF and WHS).
• Coordinate lift 4G upgrade requirements to completion.
• Liaise with contractors and relevant stakeholders.
• Support strata managers and administration with compliance notices and documentation.
• Monitor deadlines and maintain accurate records.
