Job summary

Assetlink Village Services is seeking experienced Chefs to join our FIFO/BIBO team across remote mining village operations in Western Australia. You will deliver high-quality meals in a high-volume kitchen while upholding food safety standards.

This full-time role operates on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, with meals, accommodation and flights provided. Trade Certificate, Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery and a current police clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume catering or commercial kitchen operations.
• Experience preparing crib meals, desserts, and bulk catering services.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and safe work practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering high-quality meals across breakfast, crib, dinner, and dessert service.
• Maintaining high standards of food presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene.
• Supporting kitchen operations in a high-volume remote environment.
• Ensuring compliance with HACCP, food safety standards, and site procedures.
• Assisting with stock control, food storage, rotation, and minimising waste.
• Working collaboratively with kitchen and village teams to meet operational requirements.
• Contributing to a safe and positive workplace culture.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment at all times.
