Job summary

Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) is seeking a Risk Advisor to support the enterprise-wide risk management program and guidance to schools on risk identification, assessment and monitoring. You will collaborate with school leaders, directorates and business units to strengthen risk capability, governance and continuity planning, utilizing Power BI and GRC tools within a hybrid work environment.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in risk or governance and a minimum of three

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in risk, governance or related discipline, or significant professional experience.
Strong knowledge of risk management principles and frameworks.
Experience conducting risk assessments and facilitating risk workshops.

Responsibilities

Support the MACS enterprise-wide Risk Management Framework implementation.
Provide practical risk guidance to schools, including risk registers and regulatory compliance.
Strengthen risk culture, internal controls and governance processes.
Plan and undertake risk activities to evaluate controls and governance effectiveness.
Support the use of risk tools, systems and the MACS GRC platform.
Build risk awareness through workshops and resources.
Contribute to enterprise risk reporting, emergency management and business continuity.
