Job summary

DRC Drilling in Australia is seeking an experienced Surface Drilling Supervisor to oversee drilling operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and manage a team of Diamond and RC drillers and assistants.

You will coordinate planning, execution, and review, monitor equipment, and work with engineers and geologists to meet project objectives while maintaining detailed safety and progress logs.

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Drilling Operations.
• Proven experience as a Drilling Supervisor with a strong Diamond and RC history.
• Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work in challenging and remote environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate drilling activities, including planning, execution, and review.
• Ensure all drilling operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage and lead a team of drillers, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Monitor and control drilling equipment and techniques to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and other professionals to ensure project objectives are met.
• Maintain accurate records of drilling operations, including progress reports and safety logs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during drilling operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of drill sites and drilling equipment and ensure maintenance schedules are met
• Ensure adherence to environmental and regulatory requirements.
