Job summary

Flybuys in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will partner with Product Management and IT to translate business priorities into detailed requirements and manage delivery across platform and agile squads.

The role focuses on data analysis, process modelling, stakeholder alignment, and contributing to standardized software development practices, while supporting the team through change and testing of new systems.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering BA and test artifacts aligned to BABOK and Agile methodologies with 5+ years Business Analysis experience.
• Experience working in data projects or any other technical projects.
• Ability to work with dispersed and diverse agile technology teams to deliver continuous value for our customers.
• Strong communicator and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues identified through analysis.
• Breakdown business priorities into detailed requirements with Product Manager.
• Manage requirements across Platform team and flex squads.
• Capture and translate business requirements into technical specs with stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis to support informed decisions by stakeholders.
• Maintain stakeholder alignment on project goals and delivery.
• Contribute to standardization of software development processes.
• Analyse and model business processes to identify improvements.
• Work with IT teams to implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Participate in testing and validation of new systems and processes.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by management.
