Ascendunt Group, Melbourne-based financial services client, seeks a Business Analyst to join its Data & Analytics team on a contract running until the end of the year, with an immediate start and potential to extend. The team is moving from manual operational and SLA reporting to automated reporting.

You will refine requirements, investigate data issues, validate outputs and support go-live and ongoing improvement.

Formación

Proven experience as a Business Analyst on data, reporting or transformation initiatives.
Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements skills, with ability to work with both business and technical teams.
Good analytical mindset and ability to explain data issues and root causes.
Working SQL skills and comfort analysing data.
Experience supporting UAT or business validation testing.

Responsabilidades

Capture and refine reporting requirements, business rules and calculation logic with operational stakeholders.
Investigate differences between existing reports and automated outputs, and identify root causes.
Support testing and validation of reporting outputs, including data analysis and defect triage.
Maintain reporting documentation and definitions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Support go-live, post-implementation activities and ongoing enhancements.
