Job summary

Insite Contracting in Melbourne’s Inner Eastern suburbs is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a short-term contract. The role covers both project delivery and BAU, requiring hands-on analysis, requirements gathering and process mapping to support continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams, document requirements, create user stories and assist with testing, UAT, and issue resolution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
• Experience supporting both project delivery and BAU activities.
• Strong requirements gathering, analysis and documentation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements from key stakeholders.
• Support project delivery activities as well as ongoing BAU requirements.
• Review existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare business requirements documents, process maps, user stories and functional specifications.
• Work collaboratively with business users, project teams and technical stakeholders.
• Assist with testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and issue resolution.
• Investigate business issues, assess impacts and help develop practical solutions.
• Support process enhancements, operational changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure requirements are clearly understood and documented.
