Job summary

Algolia is seeking a Customer Success Engineer to ensure customers adopt, implement, and scale our AI search platform. This remote role supports customers across Australia, collaborating with teams to deliver onboarding, guidance, and hands-on implementation.

You will design and deliver technical workshops, advise on best practices for search deployment, and partner with the Customer Success Manager to maintain long-term customer health with clear documentation and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role (CSE, SE, SA, consultant)
• Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Java, PHP, C#, Objective-C, Swift, Ruby, Python)
• Experience with REST API, databases, and web development technologies
• Experience delivering technical workshops (training/knowledge transfer)
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Act as a consultant delivering ad-hoc services tailored to customer needs
• Scope, shape and present technical workshops to drive adoption
• Advise customers on technical and industry best practices in search implementation
• Collaborate with Customer Success Manager to maintain long-term customer health
• Develop and present regular case status reports and communicate risks and solutions
