Job summary

Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) is seeking a Return to Country Support Officer in Katherine, NT. The role is full-time and includes coordinating bookings, handling enquiries, assisting with trips, and vehicle maintenance to support regional communities.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, autonomous, and culturally proficient with Aboriginal communities. Some travel to remote areas and potential overnights may be required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture values.
• Experience in the provision of support and advocacy to Aboriginal families.
• Current manual NT Driver's License.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to respond to queries by phone and email.
• Demonstrated experience in an administrative capacity with intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Support operations by taking bookings and responding to general enquiries.
• Help with preparation of trips and travel logistics.
• Maintain vehicles including servicing and cleaning.
• Travel to remote communities as required, with possible overnight stays.
