Job summary

Community Solutions is seeking a compassionate Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in a permanent full-time role with hybrid work from home options in the Moreton Bay region.

You will conduct functional behaviour assessments, develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support plans, and collaborate with families, support workers, and allied health professionals to promote safety, choice, and independence.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, counselling, development education or related field.
• Registration preferably as a Core Practitioner.
• Strong IT, admin and organisation skills due to billable time.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to drive, plus NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop evidence-based strategies.
• Complete Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support plans.
• Collaborate with families, support workers and allied health professionals.
• Build the capacity of support teams through coaching and mentoring.
