Job summary

GE HealthCare in Asia is seeking a Category Manager for Asia Total Rewards & HR Operations to lead sourcing and category management across the region, translating global strategies into regional plans while considering local requirements.

You will manage end-to-end sourcing, negotiate contracts, and drive cost optimization with risk controls, reporting to the Associate Senior Sourcing Manager - Global Total Rewards & HR Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management.
• Proven track record leading complex sourcing projects from strategy through negotiation and implementation.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills with ability to evaluate proposals and total cost of ownership.
• Experience across multiple countries and cultures, ideally in Asia within a global matrix.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Chinese; ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing for Total Rewards and HR Operations across Asia, with regional and global support.
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with priorities, market dynamics, and risk considerations.
• Analyze regional spend, supplier landscapes, and market trends to identify opportunities and build a pipeline.
• Translate global strategies into regional plans accounting for local requirements and regulations.
• Own negotiation strategies and contract coverage, achieving savings and value beyond price.
• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity and other subject-matter experts on contracts and compliance.
• Establish governance with suppliers, manage performance reviews, and drive improvements.
• Partner with stakeholders to balance local needs with enterprise-scale opportunities.
