Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an AI Security Analyst to stress-test frontier AI models, identify vulnerabilities, and classify risk. The role is a fully remote hourly contract with flexible hours (10–40 hours/week), inviting professionals who understand AI exploitation and defensive measures.

You will analyze security scenarios, review prompt injections and data leakage risks, and recommend mitigations to keep AI systems safe and trustworthy.

Qualifications

• Cybersecurity background in information security or related field.
• Strong threat modeling for AI/emerging tech.
• Familiar with prompt injection and model misuse.
• Analytical, rigorous, and independent worker.
• Comfort with ambiguity and structured conclusions.
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze AI and LLM security scenarios to understand models under adversarial conditions.
• Review and evaluate prompt injection attacks, data leakage risks, model abuse patterns, and system misuse.
• Classify security issues by impact and likelihood; recommend mitigations.
• Help evaluate and improve AI system behavior to remain safe and resistant to exploitation.
• Work with realistic scenarios drawn from frontier AI development.
• Complete task-based assignments independently on your schedule.
